Timber is sourced only through Kerala Forest Department auctions, from trees grown for a minimum of 60 years. That slow growth produces grain so dense, the wood becomes harder with every decade it stands in your home.

Third-generation craftsmen from Nilambur and Malappuram shape each plank by hand using traditional mortise and tenon joinery in every structural connection — the same technique that has held 19th-century Kerala antiques together for 150 years.
